Shipping, Cancellations & Returns
Free Shipping on All Orders
At Gaia Ceramica, we believe in transparent pricing and service. That’s why we offer free shipping on all orders within the contiguous U.S., including liftgate service when needed.
Note: Remote, limited-access, or special handling deliveries may incur extra charges. We’ll always contact you before applying additional fees.
Order Process
- Order Confirmation: You’ll receive an email once your order is placed.
- Processing: In-stock items ship promptly; made-to-order or backordered items will include lead times.
- Tracking: We’ll email tracking details once your item ships.
- Carriers: UPS, FedEx, USPS, R+L Carriers, and SAIA Freight.
- Note: We do not ship to P.O. Boxes via UPS or FedEx.
Damaged Shipments
If your shipment arrives damaged:
- Do not accept the package if damage is visible.
- Take clear photos of the damage and packaging.
- Email info@gaiaceramica.com within 24 hours.
- Keep all packaging materials and do not use or discard the item.
Faulty or Malfunctioning Items
If your item doesn’t work as expected, contact us at info@gaiaceramica.com. We’ll troubleshoot and help coordinate with the manufacturer on any warranty claims.
Wrong Product Received
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery.
- We’ll cover return shipping and send the correct product at no extra cost.
- Please do not use or discard the incorrect item.
Cancellations
- Before Shipping: Orders can be canceled with no penalty.
- After Payment Processed: Subject to a 5% admin fee.
- Made-to-Order Items: Cannot be canceled once production begins. Fees of 25%–50% may apply based on manufacturer policies.
- After Shipping: Cancellations will be treated as returns.
Returns
We accept returns on eligible unused items within 30 days of delivery.
Return Eligibility
- Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in like-new condition.
- Return requests must be emailed to info@gaiaceramica.com.
- We will provide return instructions and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or sent in error.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
Restocking Fees
Eligible returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 10%, based on manufacturer policies and item condition.
Items Not Eligible for Return
- Custom, made-to-order, or special-order items
- Kilns, wheels, pug mills, and other electrical equipment
- Opened or used products
- Consumables like clay, glazes, and tools (unless shipped in error)
Buyer’s Remorse
Returns due to change of mind must meet all return conditions and may be subject to the above restocking fee.
Refunds
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method after we receive and inspect the return.
- Please allow 5–10 business days for processing.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Warranty Coverage
Most of our products are backed by manufacturer warranties.
Warranty coverage does not include:
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper use or installation
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Damage during delivery (must be reported immediately)
