1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have legal parental/guardian consent to use this site and make purchases. By accessing or using our Website, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Products and Services
Gaia Ceramica offers professional-grade ceramic studio equipment and supplies, including kilns, wheels, slab rollers, pug mills, and accessories. Many products are heavy-duty and shipped via freight. Some items are made to order and may have longer lead times.
3. Ordering and Payment
3.1 Order Acceptance
All orders are subject to review and acceptance. We may cancel orders for reasons including inventory errors, pricing discrepancies, or suspected fraud.
3.2 Payment
We accept all major credit cards and secure digital payment methods. Payments are processed via PCI-compliant third-party payment processors.
4. Shipping and Delivery
4.1 Lead Times and Freight
Shipping times vary. In-stock items generally ship within 1–3 weeks. Custom or made-to-order items may take 6–8+ weeks.
Large items ship via freight. You must be present to inspect and sign for delivery. If damage is visible, you must note it on the delivery receipt before signing. Failure to do so may void any damage claim.
4.2 Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout. For freight items, additional charges may apply.
5. Refund and Return Policy
We want you to be happy with your purchase. However, due to the nature of our products, please read our return policies carefully.
5.1 Return Eligibility
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery on eligible, unused items in their original packaging. You must contact us at info@gaiaceramica.com for a Return Authorization Number prior to returning any item.
5.2 Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns for:

Kilns, pug mills, and other electrical equipment

Custom or made-to-order items

Used or installed products

Items without original packaging
5.3 Restocking Fees
Returns may be subject to a 15–25% restocking fee, depending on the manufacturer.
5.4 Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged, defective, or incorrect.
6. Order Cancellations
6.1 Before Shipping
In-stock items may be canceled prior to shipping with no penalty.
6.2 Custom Orders
Custom, made-to-order, or special-order items cannot be canceled once production has started.
7. Damages and Faulty Items
7.1 Freight Damage
If your item arrives with visible damage:

Do not sign the delivery slip without noting the damage.

Take clear photos of all damaged areas and packaging.

Failure to report damage within 3 business days may result in the claim being denied.
7.2 Faulty or Malfunctioning Items
If your item is faulty (e.g., does not operate correctly):

We may assist with troubleshooting, replacement parts, or manufacturer warranty claims.
8. Wrong Product Received
If you receive the wrong product:

We will arrange for return shipping and send the correct item at no additional cost.
9. Exchange Policy
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different item, please return the original (if eligible), and place a new order. Exchanges are not available on custom or non-returnable products.
10. Buyer’s Remorse
We understand that sometimes you may change your mind. However, buyer’s remorse is not a valid reason for return on:

Special order, custom, or made-to-order products

Opened or used equipment

Kilns and electrical equipment
If your item qualifies under our return policy, standard restocking fees and return shipping costs apply.
11. Warranty Coverage
Most equipment includes a manufacturer's warranty (typically 1–5 years). Gaia Ceramica facilitates warranty support but final decisions are made by the manufacturer.
11.1 Warranty Does Not Cover:

Improper installation

Unauthorized repairs or modifications

Normal wear and tear

Commercial misuse or damage due to neglect
Please retain your receipt and register your product with the manufacturer (if applicable).
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gaia Ceramica is not liable for:

Indirect or consequential damages

Loss of use, revenue, or profits

Any damage arising from improper use of products
Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the product.
